Mammon Ravana Raum showed Devin Dawson what it takes to be the Extreme Champion. Though it was a brutal beating, Devin Dawson did defeat MMR to keep the Extreme Title.

Dick Harris, J. A. Sawyer, Jeff Payne and Devin Dawson faced off in what was doubted the “Battle of Champions.” With Dick Harris and Devin Dawson out cold, Sawyer was able to pull an easy win over "Insane" Jeff Pain.

WCW PPV 'In Excile' saw Devin Dawson capture the Extreme Championship over J.A. Sawyer in an uncontrollable Lumberjack Match. This is Dawson’s first taste of championship gold since entering the WCW and he is hungry for more.

J.A. Sawyer and Devin Dawson had a rough time working together to overcome the powerful team of Matthew Triggs and John Johnson. But when all was finished, Devin Dawson quickly took advantage of the chaos and pinned the Triple Crown Champion Matthew Triggs.

As the last two competitors in a ‘Fatal Four-way Table Match’ for the WCW Extreme Title, Devin Dawson slips in an attempt to eliminate J.A. Sawyer with a superplex off the top rope. To Dawson’s misfortune, both men came crashing to the floor and through the table together. It was then determined that J.A. Sawyer and Devin Dawson would enter the ring again for the Carnage Title at “Exile,” the September WCW PPV.

After a cocky exchange, Devin Dawson nearly cost his first PPV match after Ric Owen delivered his famous 'Xecution.' If Lillian had not been there to distract Ric Owen, Dawson would not have had time to recover and then win the match by pinfall.

In only 20 seconds Devin Dawson makes a smashing entrance into the WCW by winning the "NEWCOMERS TRIPLE THREAT MATCH" against E-Unit and Kalvin Stone.
Pinning Kalvin Stone insured that Devin Dawson does now indeed have a contract with the WCW.
